Cooking with Less Meat, Using Pulses

Many of us want to eat less meat, whether out of respect for the environment, interest in vegetarianism, or simply because meat is expensive. Using less meat means getting our protein somewhere else, and pulses are an amazingly powerful source. Done right, they make the perfect dish.

 

After this session, you will be confident to cook any kind of pulses and will know how to combine them with other ingredients in order to provide all the nutrients your body needs. You will know more about the benefits of adding pulses to your diet and will have learnt some useful cooking tips and techniques to help you in your everyday cooking.

Session held in a family kitchen, in North Kingston

Group of 5 to 8 people

Session cost: £50 (incl. ingredients)

Duration: circa 2 hours and half, from 10:00am until 12:30pm, followed by a meal around the kitchen table if you fancy
