Cooking for Athletes
We all know that pro athletes take their nutrition very seriously. But how about you?
It's not just about calories consumed and burned. What and when we eat has a huge impact on our performance, our health and our recovery.
This session is for people who do lots of sport or who cook for athletes, whether they are amateurs or pros, junior or veteran.
We will discuss what the body needs before, during and post-exercise. And we will prepare a few snacks and meals to fuel the body with the right stuff for optimal performance!
Oat and berry muffins
Sweet & chilli beef stir-fry
Homemade rehydration drink
Nut butter and cereal bar
Session held in a family kitchen, in North Kingston
Group of 5 to 8 people
Cost: £50 (incl. ingredients)
Duration: circa 2 hours and half, from 10:00am until 12:30pm, followed by a meal around the kitchen table if you fancy
Cancellation policy: cancellation up to 48hrs before the class free or charge. Cancellation fee of £25 for less than 48hr notice. Full amount required when less than 24hr notice
